Some love stories linger forever!

‘Some love stories linger forever’, this can be truly attributed to HTHS that has been in the making since the past six years. Every time the makers took upon the camera there seemed to crop up some or the other hurdle. Be it Madhuri’s marriage, top financier Bharat Shah’s arrest, Salman’s hide n seek with the courts or Shah Rukh Khan’s various personal problems, Producer K. C. Bokadia has had enough of everything. Now is the time to relax and wait for time to pay off its debts.

Even though the film has been in the making since a long long time, it is attched with great expectations. All credit goes to the strong star cast of Shah Rukh, Salman and Madhuri who share an amazing on-screen chemistry. Equal iota of credit must be accorded to music directors Anu Malik and Nadeem Shravan who’ve done a neat job worth a ‘sunoh’. For the past few days, the film’s promos are doing the rounds of popular television channels and if that is anything to go by, then K. C. Bokadia can surely expect to taste green.

Gopal (Shah Rukh) and Radha (Madhuri) are our happily married couple. Before marriage, Gopal had clearly laid down certain do’s and don’t’s to his dear wife. Even though many of these do’s and don’t’s are not acceptable by Radha, she accepts them simply due to her infallible love for Gopal. Gopal is highly sensitive and self centered. He is so much so engrossed in his daily routine that he unknowingly seems to ignore Radha. Here enters Suraj (Salman), a small time singer and neighbour to our leading couple. He soon gets friendly to the sad and dejected Radha and a new relationship begins to bubble. But before long, Gopal gets a wind of things and here begins a sordid tale of deception and misunderstanding.

Even though the music is not updated as per the current day trends in Bollywood, it is climbing up the numbers on the musical charts with great speed and constancy. While Shah Rukh Khan flawlessly plays the angry young man, Madhuri and Salman manage to re-create their Hum Apke Hain Koun- Saajan magic. How it fares at the box office, only time will tell.

Surprise: Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam co-stars Aishwarya Rai as Suman, who plays a blind girl.
