Why does the ’’best indian contest and gaming website’’ suck? Well simply, cos’ they are CHEATS! They lured loads of people (me included) to play their games and trivia holding out this carrot - Hungama cyberpoints. Apparently, the points were redeemable for ’’cool stuff’’ including apparel, music CDs etc.
I started answering their stupid trivia questions THREE TIMES A DAY, FOR TWO YEARS in a bid to accumulate a point balance that would fetch me a decent prize on redemption. Unfortunately, the cheats always side-stepped redemptions excusing their sorry selves with the excuse that prize stocks were low a fresh lot of new products was on its way to the redemption area ’’soon’’. I diligently went on accumulating points waiting for the real McCoy rather than be content with the piddly deodorants and screensavers/posters that they were offering at that time. Would you believe I accumulated over TEN LAKH points with such perseverance? Well, I did, and was I proud that I was one of their highest point earners! One fine day, these goons, put paid to Two years of patience by just giving the entire website a makeover and guess what! - the scoundrels Reset ALL previous balances to ZERO, WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE. It just amounted to plain cheating and an appalling insult to the faith of thousands of avid members like me who trusted these sorry people.
The worst part? The new website is downright slow and frustrating to navigate - worse than the previous one. Will fat cat Neeraj Roy, MD & CEO, hungama.com even bother to justify these summary actions that utterly betray loyal surfers’ interests?
