I have been using Airtel for the last 6 years and I was pretty happy with their prepaid service. Even when we shifted base from delhi to another city, we maintained the same provider ( though with the local number, there after). So, the idea is that irrespective of the city, Airtel has always given me good service in terms of network. Now, when I shifted to Bangalore, I somehow, took a lifetime validity sim from hutch due to some offer at that time. And since then, Ialmost feel like I am not carrying a cell-phone.
The number is unreachable most of the times. If I have to make calls, I have to move around to check where the
network is strongest and stick there till the calls end. For SMS, I have to send multiple times till it is sent. It is either Hutch in Bangalore specifically or Hutch in general which has poor network but I have had a very bad experience with the shift. I strongly de-recommend this connection to anybody who would be thinking of
taking it in Bangaloreat least. Please choose airtel or any other provider but never, Hutch. Since, I
have shelled out in 1k in the sim, I do not feel like shifting the connection
so soon but eventually I know I will have to do so.
