Last December I spent 1 night at Hyaat Calcutta when Singapore Airlines developed some snag on my during my journey to Melbourne. It was a plesant experinece although it was a bit or irritaion as my journey got delayed. The airlines put us up in Hyaat and we were welcomed by cordial staff of the hotel. It was 1’o clock in the morning but we were given food coupon in teh 24 hour cafe ;
The chef agrred to make some light sandwiches for us and with lemon tea they were served. I put my luggage in the the room and straightaway headed to teh cafe as I was very hungry after the long wait in teh airport but then once I went back to my room, a very refreshing bath with sea salts was waiting for me. Since the passengers were very tired the hotel people arranged for the bath - the btah tub was royal and the bathrom was sparkling clean witg fresh flowers.
I felt being treated like a pricess and the sleep was very sound. he flight was recsheculed at 11 am next morning and we we had plent of time to take rest. In the morning teh breakfast was very elaborate with lots of bread, cheese, fresh fruit, ham etc - I was really so pleasantly surpised and the food quality was superb, all breads, cakes were baked fresh, so we had a hearty meal and then went for a stroll in teh garden. It was time to getready, I felt sad but the Hyatt experinece was memorable. HIGHLY recommended but if you are paid for your business :)
