Dear Mr. Bruce ,
This has reference to a meal me and my family had the misfortune of having, at the Waterside Cafe, yesterday evening (Tax Invoice #TBL 5/1, CHK 4370, GST 2WSC 010142).
This was a buffet for two, with a few drinks.Here, I would like to draw you attention to the following points which deserve your attention:
The Cosmopolitan ordered by my wife was extremely flat, in contrast to the perfect drink we have had on previous occasions at the Bar
The service throughout was extremely inattentive(though very polite), we having to have to personally request several times for forks, water, plates.And by the way, the place was only 15-20% full, with plenty of hotel staff apparently milling around.
There were two starters served, the veg kebabs being very salty, the seekh kebab being cold and not grilled to perfection.The deserts were bit stale.
As a finale, luke warm coffee was served.
Please contrast all this against a much better meal we had on Saturday evening, with drinks at the Bar, and warm, appetizing food served by attentive folks at the buffet.This made us come back, with such disastrous results.
I would believe that the strength and professionalism of any organization, is the way they react and correct any perceived weaknesses.
My intention here is not merely to complain, but a an intrinsic belief that The Hyatt would take steps to ensure that the same did not happen to any other guest. Introspection is a strength, and we all learn from our weaknesses.
Let no more evenings be disasters at The Hyatt, the way ours was.
