Re-arranged marriage
Pros - The plot, dialogues, humour, performances (especially Jyoti Dogra as Nagesh’s wife) and the direction of Nagesh Kukunoor ofcourse.
Cons - The movie has a raw feel to it. The camera work was average and I felt there were too many double-meaning and A-rated conversations for an average viewer to digest.
Nagesh Kukunoor is one of my most favorite directors, Leaving Rockford and Bollywood Calling, I have viewed all his movies. And everyone of them is a gem, including this one.
Hyderabad Blues 2 is a better work technically than the prequel. And also very entertaining, You would laugh non-stop at the humour in this movie. The performances are praise-worthy too, from every actor including Nagesh himself. The climax is endearing and I’m sure many among us will be left smiling with moist eyes..
But beware of the sexual dialogues here & there. So I would say this one is not for family viewing.
But Its a wonderful time pass if you’re watching with your friends or partner. The Telugites will have a rollicking time watching it as there are enough conversations in Telugu too.
