Sightseeing in Hyderabad is a real treat for all those who wish to be enlightened about the history and culture of ancient India.

The State managed Nizam’’s Museum in such a way that itis the second largest custodian of prized coins in the world.

The Nizam’s Museum located in hyderabad at about 2 km from a historic place charminar.

It is considered to be the heart of the city. The security in the museum is as high. A visit to Hyderabad is incomplete if u don’t visit "NAZAM MUSEUM".The museum was opened to the general public on February 19, 2000.You can plan a trip to the Nizam’s Museum on any day of the

Week except Fridays. The entry timing for the museum is between 10.00 A.M. and 5.00 P.M, with an entrance fee of Rs. 65 for adults and Rs. 15 for children. Yes it was the living haveli of Nizam. Let me put some light on his history first.

This haveli was dedicated to the seventh Nizam in the year 1750 named Mir Osman Ali Khan.In fact the contribution of the Nizam in various fields is noteworthy. He was presented with many gifts and presents on the occasion of completion of 25 years of his reign, that how a collection of several valuable gifts was made.

After he died this haveli was later converted into a museum which obviously describe about his living. The Nizam’s Museum in  Hyderabad, you will  come across vintage cars of 1930. The showcase includes Rolls Royce, Packard and Mark V Jaguar. Apart from these, you can also see a vast range of the models of the buildings. The models are made of silver and present a good view of the  buildings of the city of Hyderabad.

You can also see many urdu books which was used by nizam. The cover of book being plated with gold and fine arted with precious diamonds. Imagine the cost would it take now.

U will also see many jwelleries made of gold and silver finely crafted with precious diamonds. There are many decorative things which are made with the tooth of elephant. Where else u can go after here is CharMinar, which is 2 kilometers away from this.
