Best of the zoo in India I have ever visited. Wide range of birds, rectiles and animals.Well maintained inside, they do take care of cleanliness and maintenance.
It’s over crowded in week end, which is the only concern and you will not get good quality food inside the zoo.
You can spend your whole day of around 5-6 hours in the zoo. B/est attraction being the parrots been brought from different countries of world, huge turtle, migrated birds, extreme species of monkeys, hypo, rhynos, south african birds and animals and lion safari.
Ticket fare is really minimal, can hire cycle inside the zoo to roam around. Good for wide life photographers as well. It’s fully surrounded by big big trees so looks like a picnic spot. Best time to visit is winter season and avoid going in summer season.
