Don’t go by name, ambience or decoration of the Hypercity Store in InOrbit mall. The behavior and arrogance of the Store Manager and Security Personnel is unexpectedly awful. The security personnel stopped me and asked me to open my purse. He picked my makeup item and alleged that I was trying to steal that. He said “it belongs to their store and as you do not have bill for the same, you have to face penalty.
Let me tell you readers, I purchased that make-up item almost a year back and not from Hypercity, not even from Hyderabad. Incidentally, barcode of the item was still there on the product. I asked him to check item’s barcode and confirm. He came out after 15 mins and said “he scanned the bar code and the product belongs to his store.” I was totally shocked. I repeatedly told him that this product does not belong to your store. After 30-40 mins, he agreed upon that. And let me go. It was a terrible experience for me as Store manager and security claimed that my personal items belong to their Store.
Next time, if you are planning to go into Hypercity, check your belongings thoroughly for any barcode. They can stop you and claim that you were trying to steal it.
