I just test drove this beauty and I’m quite impressed by its performance and safe feeling it gives. The gears are all butter smooth, good power steering and braking, smooth clutch and chilling AC. And overall the cars seems to be in a good condition except for the minor damage in a tail lamp, frictional noisy power locks in one of doors(yet functional), one of the auto rear view mirror adjustment faulty.
So what should I expect(in terms of returns, troubles and expenditure) while purchasing a 7+ year old CRDi from Hyundai stable? I reside in Chennai and plan to used the car for some city driving with the family and long drives to my native in South TN and in-laws’ hill town Munnar. My predicted usage in a year should be 8000 km to 9500 km.I’m quite not ok with boxy small cars as I feel insecure driving them outside the city. And few good cars in that segment don’t fit my budget(max 2.75 lakh). Accent CRDi veterans and experts, advice please. Many thanks in advance.
