After test driving an Esteem, a ford Ikon, a Baleno, and an Opel corsa, I bought my Accent GLE in April 2005, have already done 12000 odd Kms in seven months. Getting a satisfactory mileage of 12.5 in city conditions (DELHI) with AC on. A respectable 15+ mileage on highways. A Very comfortable car with good looks.Interiors are good and give a royale look
Have touched a top speed upto 150 km/hr, found very stable, and good part was that it reached 150 effortlessly.
Sheet metal work is not good, the guage used is too thin to make the body, even a small plastic ball can make a dent. Quality of paint also needs to be looked at, even a gentle rub can remove the paint from bumper. Car is bit noisy as well not that one feels uncomfortable, but could have made a bit more silent. Sound proofing of the cabin also needs some improvement. Outside chaos can be heard easily while sitting inside.
Overall a good value for ’’that’’ money.
