MY company gave me four choices
1) Swift - Zxi
2) Esteem
3) Ford Ikon Flair
4) Hyundai Accent GLE (2006)
I chose an Accent on March 17’06 after a test drive on all and also taking in to consideration that I have to accomodate 4 elders and two children 8 & 11 years of age.Some of my friends choose Swift and one chose Esteem
<Also I am dont drive personally - so my review is limited to my current knowledge of what a good drive is>
My observation
1) Spacious and best interiors. you can accomodate 4 mixed size adults behind row if forced to
2) Very difficult driving in crowded city (considering the size) unless you are an expert driver. Even with an good driver I had 2 minor dents - specially be careful in jams and signals -it starts off fast
3) Shhet metal is thin, Paint is terrible - just goes off with minor brushes
4) Currently with 1200 kms done - I have an mileage of only 9km/lit
5) Alraedy had one tyre puncture
Conclusion - buy only if you are excellent at driving or you have dont have to negotiate too much city traffic and traffic jams
(My friends who hav bought SWIFT are impressed on all counts)
