Folks - I did a Chennai / Bangalore with my Accent Tornado today morning (5th Sep 2005) - the performance was just outstanding - had a mileage of about 13.78 KMPL in the highways with A/c.
Speed at peak was about 150Kmph without any wobble in the steering wheel - one stopover for 15 minutes & total time on the road was 5 hours - i.e., averaged about 72Km/Hr.
Some interesting information about my Tornado - Bumpy roads / mud road / turning / avioding an idiot crossing the road when you are driving at 150Km/hr without swirl all translates to 2 words in my car - ’’no problem’’
The other things I like about the car are the space - (leg & boot) I am 6.3’’ stocky guy had a lot of problems with fitting myself in other cars without pushing my seat till the rear * here with adjustable streering - fitting me is Not a problem!
Plush leather upholstry ! pioneer music system with CD changer - man I am enjoying this car to the fullest! - do let me know in case you need any more points on the performance aspect of Tornado!
