Look no further. Elantra CRDI is the car that you should go after.
Except for a badge [like a Honda or a Toyota or a Ford], this car has everything that you can expect out of an entry-premium-car. There are so many articles written about its looks, but I fail to understand how a Corolla can stack up against the profile of an Elantra. Look at it from all angles and I can vouch that if looks better than a Honda City or a Toyota Corolla. Maybe looks are subjective, so the same argument holds true even for those of us who vouch for its looks.
It comes with alloy on all 5, tubeless [relatively low profile] tyres and disc brakes on all 4; Comes loaded with traction control, ABS with brake-force-distribution to provide you that safe stopping power. You gotta test-drive an Elantra CRDI to feel the 25 kgf-m torque engine kicking off in a jiffy.
I have been driving this for a year now, and have put close to 20, 000 kms on it driving across three states in south India. It hasnt given me any trouble till now and goes great guns.
