I am using this car since last 18 months & I am really very happy with my decision to go for Getz prime GVS 1.1 petrol. Up-till now , I have driven almost 29000 Kms & my general annual expenditure on maintenance is on an average Rs .9000/-. After 15000 kms of running , the fuel efficiency has increased & I get around 11.3 kmpl in Mumbai city with AC on & with unleaded fuel . I get around 15 KMPl on long distance drives with AC on.

*Earlier I used to drive "Maruti- Alto". I wanted to upgrade to higher level model. After a lot of hectic survey on net , I short listed "Maruti Swift", Maruti Wagaon R - Vxi", Hyundai Getz. . Finaly I concluded on to Getz prime 1.1 GVS . I am very happy on my decision. I purchased this in NOV.07. My parameters for selecting the vehicles were Comfort , Good space for family, Good mileage. Performance definitely adds to your driving pleasure but I am not very much keen on pickup & speed aspect of vehicle. My average driving is around 50 Km/day in Mumbai traffic conditions & occasional long distance trip. It’s now two months, I am using this vehicle ( Around 3000 KM). I am satisfied with overall performance of the car. Space inside car is mind-blowing. Small utility spaces are smartly adjusted. Car is extremely stable even at the speed of 90KMPH.
Overall mileage is around 10.8 KMPL ( with AC on ) in city using unleaded fuel.
By using power or speed you get around 11.3 KMPL ( With AC on ). Air conditioner is bit disappointing. In hot sun it takes more time to give comfort feeling. In evening , AC performance is great !!. Pick -up is not good , car is bit sluggish. But once you gain the momentum it performs smoothly. If you maintain the momentum then vehicle performs well even on slopes.
