Even as I had decided to go for a Logan1.4GLX after several research including this forum., today I stumbled upon this beauty. The interiors of the new getz prime is really great. Wood finish on door and sound console and beige interior finish overall is simply superb.But I do not have had a chance to test drive this beautiful vehicle as the dealer in Navi Mumbai dosent has one .
After going through the reviews , i am slightly confused as to the pick up aspect. While I agree that the engine is the one in santro xing, I cannot fully comprehend the low pick up aspect. since proportionately the BHP and Torque is remapped to counter the added weight w.r.t erlx-santro engine, the pick up must not be slow as is being brought out.Another aspect is that Hyundai has reworked the wheel size and interiors only , and not on enhancing power and torque, if that was the feedback. from their customer service.
Lastly , this is an export product as well. If the pick up is slow (as indicated by readers)then it may not fare that well in overseas markets where trafffic is orderly and pick up is a pre requisite. Contrary to this the car seems to be well recieved. Once again my logic is buttressed by the fact that hundai thought it fit to enhance only interiors for 1.1 LITER models.
