Hyundai Getz(Prime) 1.1 GVS……….Very comfortable family car with decent mileage & average pickup.
My Getz clocked around 3000 kms & I’m very much satisfied with the comfort the car provides. I’m 6’2” long & I needed a small car with space of premium cars and Getz is the one I chose. It’s a pretty looking hatchback with nice & decent beige interiors. The gear shift is smooth & soft as butter. The car gives 13-14 kmpl in city conditions & 17-18 kmpl in highway with moderate use of AC. It feels like we are driving a sedan. The performance of the vehicle is not upto the mark though. Every time I have to change to 3rd gear to overtake another vehicle. I’m telling you! You are gonna be a decent driver when you drive this car(no rash driving).
I did a lot of enquiry before buying this beauty. I referred the reviews in mouthshut.com which helped me a lot in making my decision.
Pros:
Very much comfortable with very good shock absorbers;
Spacious with amble leg room & boot;
Pretty good AC, which cools the cabin faster;
Mileage – 13-14 kmpl in city & 17-18 in highway;
Nicely blended beige interiors;
Smooth gear shift;
Good looks & robust design(build quality)
Good pricing(4.3 lacs on road for 1.1 GVS with spoiler)
Cons: Throttle response is bad with poor acceleration
