I was among the first in Bhopal city to buy the Getz. I have been driving the car (Getz GLS) since Jan 2005...its almost around 4 years now. I would like to add about its fuel consumption. I have heared people talking in negative about its fuel efficiency. My personal experience in the past 4 years have given me an average of around 13 kmpl with the AC on in busy roads. The sitting comfort, leg-space and the ease with which the car rides even on rough roads have made me its fan.
I will recommend it to every one. And would request others with "low average" problem to kindly get it checked. My car can’t be an exception. I have been driving it almost daily for 70-80 km., I have never found a problem with it. The child-lock facility in the rear doors, the steering adjustments are good. Before buying this car, I drove many other cars. But the moment I drove Getz, probably it was this ease of driving n the pleasure which made my decision firm for this car.
