Hello Gent,
Its been like 3 months, I was still scouting for a good car deal, and zero in on a car. I did test drive Esteem, Swift, Fiesta and Getz. Well, Getz wins thumps down! on fuel efficiency, exemplary space, all in all a wonderful performance & an advanced safe car!!! in its segment. I have zeroed in on the Entry level variant@! Getz GLE Necessity is the mother of invention! The test drive was done on 6th May 2006. Within minutes into the test drive though, I was still getting to grips with the newbie! well, it wasnt very quick, or exceptionally fast, but I had other things to worry about Getz , is a large portion of the countrys most literate population seemingly determined to jump right in front?? Well, I am referring to the 2 wheelers in Bangalore, just too many...flouting the law & weaving the in the traffic! Getz is the best all-rounder and offers exceptional value for money. It has a matured look & a grown-up feel and is the most refined to drive. A Euro III star (now referred to as Bharat Stage III ) safety rating & a three-year warranty make it a truly sensible buy. It may be competitively priced, but the driving experience gives the impression that corners have been cut? Not at all...The 82 bhp 1, 341cc engine ( so that I could sound techincal?) was put to the road test , while the sun was playing hide n seek, it was June & 06 Monsoons were early, this year. Fuel-efficiency is important for any car to succeed, especially in our country, which is dealt with, to the full potential.
regards,
Aravind
