Hi, I was a huge fan of Hyundai cars, but have lately changed my approach, as I feel cheated by the quality of products used in making of Hyundai cars in India.
I have been an owner of a Hyundai Getz GVS 2006 model car. Over the past few months, I have been observing that the dashboard simply melts. If I keep anything on the dashboard it becomes sticky. If I touch the dashboard, my finger prints gets left on it.
I have written to the company and have shown the car at Kothari service centre at Kharadi in Pune, but was informed that the car is out of warranty hence this cannot be covered. The service personnel did not agree that defective material or low quality plastic was used in making of the dashboard of this car.
I have taken this car to 3M service centre who have also stated that this is a common problem in this make of car as they have had similar complaints from other owners as well.
Sad to say that this company does not care for its customers. Please think before buying any cars from this manufacturer.
