It GETZ you everywhere!!

Helloooo MouthShuters,

My dad bought a brand new Hyundai Getz GLS in Bright Silver just two months ago. It’s a wonderful premium hatchback car with ample space of a sedan just lacking a boot. It has the right amount of substances- comfort, ride quality and sufficient mileage(the best overall mileage in its class).

From the outside, the car is quite high, wide enough and compact, making it easier for parking in the busiest of Bangalore roads. The body feels strong and the finish is just superb. It has quite a conventional shape and design that makes the car look big from the inside and compact from the outside.

As far as the interior of the car is concerned, it is enormously roomy and can accomodate five medium-sized adults comfortably. The dashboard is made up of high quality plastics which are nice. The steering wheel is taken from the Accent. The center console is just perfectly placed with the right amount of controls. All models come standard with four power windows. The car is extremely quite when all the windows are rolled up.The rear seats split in the ratio 60:40 making it easy to load items into the boot without the need of opening the boot.

In the performance region, the Getz proves that it is a typical Hyundai - the engine built for durability, speed and sporty. There is a nice grunt between the 1000-2500 rpm. The pick-up and acceleration of the car is just gr8.

Last month, we had been to Kerala to visit temples after we bought the car. The car achieved good speed in a short interval of time. The car could not be taked beyond the 90kmph mark(as per owner’s manual), but we covered good distance thanks to the big fuel tank(capacity of 45 litres). the car returned good mileage in the city as well the longer form(highway). In the city of Bangalore, the car gives 12-13 kmpl and around 18-20 kmpl in the highways thanks to alloy wheels. The alloys makes the car feel steady on roads, provides a smooth ride, gives an extra 1-1.5 kms per litre and also makes the car look very sporty and elegent. hence, it is a recommended option those who would like to have these extra benefits.

The braking of the car is just fabulous. The car has discs in the front and drums in the rear. An option of ABS along with 14’’ alloy wheels is available which is a great offer for the price you pay(an additional of nearly Rs 45000).

On the whole, the car is really a gem piece from Hyundai and for those who are bored of the Santro and can’t afford an Accent or Elantra, then GETZ is the car to go for.

This is just because the GETZ simply ’GETZ YOU EVERYWHERE’.
