A super silent engine with high stability.

Driven M 800 for 14 years(bought in Delhi and re-registered in Hyderabad in 2007) Decided to buy a little bigger car for travel with a family of 5 in comfort and with safety.Choices were SWIFT(petrol / Deisel) and i10 1.2 Kappa .A little less than 3 years ago I bought i, 10 1.2 Kappa MAGNA. covered close 34000 KMs. I would come straight to pros and cons about this vehicle with some prelude before I share my experiencePrelude 34000km covered includes 6 trips from Hyderabad to Bangalore and back. My City+ Highway driving was always with 100% AC switched on.PROS: * Great looks with beige interiors.* A supersilent cabin almost zero noise inside cabin(no engine humming noise or any ratteling noise) even with A/C on* Super smooth gears shifting and sporty gears positioning* Very stable and better road grip at high speeds(pulled maximum 145 KMPH) on hyd-Blr highway NH 7(Personal request dont speed-up as during one my jouney a small bird hit the windscreen and that produced a sound like a tennis ball hit the glass) well since then decided not to pull vehicle beyond 120. Gods grace the bird flew away after the hit. * super cool a/c. * KUN UNITED HYD hats off to your sales and safter sales service. I am very happy to get my vehicle serviced with you guys always. They are very courteous and any problem that remains unaddressed even after the service they would come home to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.great value for money I got the vehicle for 4.69 with company fitted Sony music system and speakers, fog lamps seat covers etc.Boot space is more than swift.Mileage 13 avg city driving & 17 on highway with 100% AC Good pickupCONS:* Though it gives a smooth ride but makes a’thudding’ noise on bumpy roads which is far less when I drive Swift

The Right side joint between front windsheild and driver window block a lot of view especially while turning towards right - practically every time you might need to move from your sitting position to have a better view to avoid collision with any vehicle cyclist or pedestrain crossing the road.

This is annoying most of the time. this has more to do with the design - however you might adjust sitting position. herd similar thing from other friends of mine driving an i10.comparitively Swift has slighlty more cabin space At speeds higher than 120 KMPH(120 to 145) the mileage drops dramatically to 11 kmpl(I guess benefit of doubt goes to the speed vs consumption?)*The clutch positioning is little awkward though I adjusted the seating position. Can be little cumbersome while driving . This I did not feel in swift. All the best - overall a great Car with good value for money!
