I bought i10 Era 1 year back in Dec 2008. This is my first self owned car :)
First thing which every one wants to know about car is mileage.Initially the mileage was below 11-12 (before 2nd service) and after this I’m getting consistently 14-15 in city and above 17 on highways.
Pros: Engine is fine tuned, pick up is great(much better pick in 1.2 kappa but comparatively less mileage then 1.1L). Easy handling(Much comfortable in city traffic). More heap space. Since this has got more head space which provide rear seat passengers much breathing space though it is less broad in rear.
Cons: Shock ups are not so good. Feel tiresome in long journey over 200 kms. Better shock ups in i20.(Installing radial wheels can provide little help)Dashboard shape is real awkward(round). You can keep even tissue paper box over there as it keeps on falling as and when you apply brakes.Boot space is little less and company could have extended a few cms to provide a better space)No 60-40 foldable seat. No Seat height adjustment.
Overall Rating: This car is awesome for small family with 4 adult(max) with 1 kid. Or 3 adult and 2 kids goes well.Nice pick, fuel consumption, awesome interiors, adjustable motor driven power steering and more head space are features which cant be ignored in this price for a branded car of Hyundai.
I would recommend this car whose budget is between 4-6 Lacs. I have purchased this car after 2 months of review and 5 test drives. After all it is our hard earned money dude;)
