I was so confused in chosing between Alto Lxi, Satro GLS & i10. They all are best in their segments for a small family of 5. After looking at the features that are worth for money we decided to go for Hyundai i10. We will never regret for this decission:).
23 Dec 09, we got our i10 out of showroom, sleek silver:) guess what no one from my family knows how to drive it, lol. One of my frn droped it home. I have leaned the basics from my friend & all set for the first drive. It was different, realy different feeling. You dont have to use acc. To move the car at initial. On the third day I was driving at first 80 kmph at ajmer express highway. I guess i’m a quick learner. Actualy I never came to know I hv touched tat speed. Really soft & cosy drive.
Now lets talk about my driving experience of i10.
Till now I have completed 800 kms, including one long drive on NH12 of 350 kms. Max speed acheived is 105 kmph. Talking about the stability at high speed is really amazing. U can even handle a overtake without slowing down:) thanks to technology, i10 is equipped with motor driven power stearing. Pickup is best, even more better if you are synchronized with the perfect shift & speed. The best power I felt in 3rd shift & arnd speed of 30-40 kmph.
Now the most important part, the millage, not measured in city yet, but on highway I have got 17.5 kmpl, amazed to see these figures for a new car. Looking forward to get first service done. Will update the status after that.
Seating comfort is more as compare to santro & alto. And the most imp. Thing is the interior of the car is mind blowing. U will not think again after looking at the interior of the deskboard, doors & specially the place near gears. Havn’t tried AC till now. Provided with 3 modes trip meter. 3 angles low beam setting, day & night rear view mirror. All in all great space & worth for money.
If any one looking to go for a car of family, then make sure u only go for i10. Happy riding.
