Firstly, I would like to congratulate all Hyundai i10nians.
Great car to choose from all the small segment cars. I made a brief research on all small segment cars, my budget is between 4.5-5.0 lakhs.
My choices are:
Hyundai i10
Chevrolet spark
3.maruti swift (petrol)
- maruti wagon r
Chevrolet spark:
Affordable car with all basic requirements.good looks, decent interiors, good mileage but poor after sales and service. So this car dropped from my list.
Maruti swift:
Great car , very sporty looks, decent mileage but the quality of plastics they used are cheap. No airbags, music system for that price tag.
Maruti wagon r:
Tall boy looks, very good mileage coz my friend already using it, affordable price, stock gas kit but not a craze to drive car.
My final choice is Hyundai i10:
Excellent car with all safety features which includes abs, airbags, esp.after a lot of deep research and 5 test drives i have chosen i10 asta stone black.
My first experience:
The dealer stood on his promise and delivered my car on April 24 2009.after completion of all the formalities and pooja i headed to my village which is 35 km far from my hometown.
My observations so far...
Superb handling even on worst roads.but the only issue i observed is the rattling sound coming from back side. I was really disappointed at that time.soon after completion of my trip i headed towards prakash hyundai and complained about the sounds but i was shocked after listening to their reply.they convinced me by showing other new cars which is very common on all variants even in verna. complained several times about this issue but no use. Guys keep in mind about this issue before choosing i10. Till now i clocked 14, 330 kms. No issues so far except mileage which i get around 10-11 kms in city drive and 13-14 in highway drive with intermittent use of a\c.very good highway car for me coz i am the most highway user. Silent cabin with low noise and vibrations even in 140 kmph. You don’t feel tired and enjoy driving every second.my car is getting ready for 3rd service so lets find the difference. I will update my review after 3rd service see you guys soon.
