I’m a proud owner of Hyundai i10 (since May08)!
While I was evaluating which car to buy (May 08) in the small segment, actually it was very easy to pick Hyundai i10. My criteria for selection: 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs budget, something new on the roads, good service, not much waiting period and reliability. On Bangalore Roads i10 was new however in Delhi it had taken a good market share by May08.
The Dealers were open for discussion, very easily available test Drive and no wait list! So there the services got a definite plus.
I have Magna. It is spacious for a small family of 4-5 people. No rattling noise if u increase the speed. Absolute Stable on Highways also. The gearbox is located at a very strategic place and the gear movement is really smooth. The shape of the car is easy to be driven as you can get an idea of the space around (usefull for the Bangalore roads where traffic just moves bumper to bumper most of the time at peak hours)
Now comes the looks part. It is very smart !!! Interiors give a luxury feeling and from outside it look perfect Stylish!!! not more than this you can expect from a mid size mid budget car !!!
There was a little feel that the power of the engine is less but that has been rectified by Hyundai in the next version of i10- Kappa version.
Overall a great experience to own it and Drive it . In the currently available options in the market I think i10 is the best choice and the leader in the market!
