As this is my first review on mouthshut.com so please bear with me if I am not up to the mark.
I got my first car i10 1.2 kappa Sportz(Color:Red) model in first week of August till today I have driven this car 800km, based on the review I have been going through on moutshut & other blog for i10 I did’nt find any specific problem with the gear shift this is beacuse we are use to floor gear like other cars, pickup is not that attractive to me.don’t know about others.
According to my opinion this is one of the best car in Hatchback with medium luxury comfort, I preffered the sportz model as I loved the interior of the car with Electric Red colour though the price of the car is high 487000 on road in Pune with(No ABS, No Airbag, No Fog lights, No Sunroof).
Mileage: I got a mileage of 15 km/litre in City most of the time I use third gear & around 18Km/litre on highway may get more after first servicing, I drive it on Mumbai-Pune Express way at 130km/hr the car was stable with no vibration this shows how the new Kappa engine is capable of in term of power & mileage as this is an aluminium engine this car weight has been reduce to some extent,
The top speed of the car is said to be about 164km/hr.
Comfort: The In-built music system & AC is ok for me, legroom is quite spacious even tall person can relax.
My Comment: Atleast fog light & Remote central locking should have been included in this model the way it cost.
