No Doubt the car is extraordinary, it’s been a month since I owned this car(1.1 L Era). Those who have confusion or making up their mind for 1st car, I will definately recommed this car for these reasons:
1) The interiors and space are uncomparable to any car in this segment.
2) The car is atleast better from Swift, Estilo, WagonR (even better from Splash and A Star, you can see the pictures on net).
3) I don’t know the reason that why people are running after Swift, which in my opinion has very less space as looked from outside and less than i10 also.
4) Spark is a wonderful car but you will have to compromise for service availability and looks.
5) If you compare it with TATA Indigo CS(as both have same price range around 3.9 lacs), TATAs are very bad at petrol engines.
6) The driving is far better from Swift, Chevrolet Aveo.
7) If you are planning to buy a Santro then you must have a look at i10 as spending few thousand rupees can yield you fruitful results.
But Hyundai should make some improvements in the car also and some points should be kept in mind while making the buy decision like:
1) Shock absorbers are hard and tough, there shold be modifications in that.
2) Sound from silencer is more as compared to all other cars in the segment.
3) Hand brake is not powerful enough to rely upon.
4) A person opting for i10 Sportz or higher models can also opt for Mahindra Renault Logan and Hyundai Accent as spending more than 4.5 lacs on a small petrol car is I think useless.
5) If your budget is less i.e; around 2-3.5 lacs then A-Star( new Alto avtaar coming soon) and Spark are the best choices.
