I brought new I10 on August 9th 2013. since I was a newbie preferred to buy a small car.Thought of buying Swift turned down at the last moment due to overpricing.Initially did not like the exteriors of the car as it is not muscular as Swift, Punto etc. but after driving for some days I came to know why people love to buy this car.
Being a newbie did not face any difficulty I driving in a city like Bangalore, particularly its light weight steering and visibility are excellent. May not get the power like Swift but in other aspects it is good.Mileage in the city is bit disappointing as it has newer crossed 12km/lit, but it will not disappoint in long drives.
Guys, I generally prefer to cruise it will give 17 to 18 km/lit if we drive between 80 to 110km/hr and above 110km/hr mileage comes down to 15 to 16 km/lit. Got amazing mileage when it is driven at 80 to 90 km/hr i.e around 20 to 22 km/lit. But driving at 80km/hr speed in highways it is highly impossible for me.But extreme care should be taken while driving at high speeds in uneven roads because of its undersized tyres.
May not get in control at high speeds breakers are not so effective and while cornering one should be careful because of its tall body.Feel power lag while driving in highways. Most disappointing factor for me is the mileage in the city. However I drive it hasn’t crossed 12km/lit but apart from this it is excellent car.
For this price tag it is value for money car. Every car has it own pros and cons, this car also has some pros and cons and I love this car because of its pros.
