I dont own a Hyundai i20, I was just going to buy one. I was on the Hyundai website to call them for a test drive and I suddenly remembered that my cousin has an i20, so I called her to ask her how it is. She said the key got stuck in the ignition, and so they called the Hyundai people who came over and tried to take out the key.
The Hyundai guy said they get a lot of complaints of the key getting stuck.
Anyhow, it didnt come out. He left it like that and the car had to be towed the next day. Then Hyundai called them and said it would cost 20k as some part was broken! When my cousin said their own men had come and tried to remove the key, they said they had no record of their men attending to their car at all, and flatly denied that they had sent anyone, which to me was the most shocking.
So Im going to look at another car now! I dont mind issues with the car, but bad servicing is something I cannot tolerate.
