HMIL is launched a better version of Hyundai i10 car, It is Designed atHyundai’s Russelsheim, Germany center .just like the i10, India will bethe export base of the car, but unlike the i10, the car will first be offered for export, before the localized right hand drive versions become available.
The i20 model is equipped with an automatic gear box for better driving standards. The i20 looks just like its other i-brethren, but more mature and even more stylish.
The Hyundai i20 is said to have 3 doors which will be released after the 5 door version launch. The new model is going to have bigger inner space and a tougher engine with international standards. The dramatic changes, though, are under the bonnet.
Among the smaller engines, the 1.2-litre Kappa from the i10 and a newline-litre engine, producing about 90 bhp, will power the hatch.
At the diesel end, a new 1.4-liter common rail unit, called i blue, with 89 bhp will be on offer. Its CO2 emissions - just 99 g/km! The oil-burner will be paired with 6-speed manual gearbox.
This new car aimed at B segment is code named as PB and will be targeting a position above Hyundai Getz.
Hyundai is producing all these new models in India itself hence Indian shave a benefit of buying these export level cars. The i20 will behaving better quality plastic and comfortable seating and interiors with more room space for luggage.
