Its been about 20 days since I bought my i20. My experience has been great till now. I’ve bought Magna petrol. Bought it from Trident Hyundai, Bangalore. Well, here is my rating:
Dealer: nice and friendly people. Very responsive. I took test drive twice and both the times the sales rep got the demo car to my house(about 15kms from Trident). He managed all the paper work w.r.t finance and registration - well in time. I took the delivery on a holiday(15th Aug), and the sales rep was present with his team at Trident for delivery. Overall great experience.
Economy: I’ve done about 900kms till now. I got 580kms for 43 liters. That’s about 13.5kms average. I’m pretty impressed.
Service: My stereo was giving some problem. I visited the service center to get it fixed. It was a nice experience in the way people engaged with me. I was offered coffee and newspaper till the time the engineers fixed the problem. At no cost, the car came back to be within exactly 10 mins. After having experienced miserable time with Maruti service centres for last 8 years(RNS Motors), this experience was a delight. I hope my car will be taken good care in future at this service center.
Driving: Absolutely comfortable car. I had test driven Swift and Fabia. I loved i20 the day I drove it. I wont write much about driving because I’ve not yet driven long. And Bangalore roads and traffic do not let you really experience a good drive. Am itching to hit the highway. Sometime soon.
Space inside: its very very spacious. Both front and back. Very comfortable for 4 people to travel. I do about 60kms daily to work and pool car with colleagues. All of us have found it spacious - enough leg room at the rear too.
Looks: are the best. I’ve got compliments from all my colleagues, neighbours & friends. I’ve de-badged my silver car completely(no stickers - not even’Hyundai", "i20", "Magna", etc). Its clean. Am in love with the looks.
Overall - my first Hyundai car and am extremely impressed. Worth the price - costed my 5.75 on road.
