First the pros
-Beautiful interiors(i guess it can even put any car uptil 10 lakhs to shame in that dept)
-The front driving seat and position is fantastic
-Steering is quite light and is a nice drive in city albeit it doesn’t exude great power.
-The music system is coming with the USB which others punto, figo etc are not giving.now c’mon
who listens to dvds these days.a pen drive is quite handy to carry and u do away with all those CD boxes
as well.i20 wins in that dept as well
-From the exterior as well, it’s much better looking than punto and polo.watch them standing side by side each other and by watching the curves u wud know why I am saying i20 is a better looking car.
-cheaper compared to swift zxi and polo.
-The magna which costs 5.5 Lakhs is quite value for money when u look at the features it is giving.auto climate control, usb music player, power windows, central locking etc.
Now the cons
-AC.AC.AC.what is hyundai doing.is it sleeping.dont they read the reviews posted on the web sites or dont their boses ever used i20 with AC on.u spend 5.5 lakhs and get what .only a beautiful box which runso n 4 wheels and is usable only in winters.This one con is the biggest one and for me outshines all the pros which this car prefers.And if you ask any hyundai dealer .they will say.ohh its got a wonderful AC.The cooling glove box which hyundai claims is utter useless as it cant even cool the cabin forget the glove box,
-Has less rear leg room than say figo or ritz, but better than punto and swift.
-Some people might feel its power is not upto the mark which one would expect from a 5.5 Lakh car.
-The old swift(i mean the 1300 cc engine petrol is still the best one to drive til date in this segment)
Overall, its much better to buy a dated sedan like Accent executive which is butter smooth to drive, fantastic AC and is a sedan after all!
Dunno be trapped by what dealer says.just take a long test drive at 1pm in noon and turn on the AC.
Its defenitely a good buy if you dun care about the AC as the car gives a pretty upmarket feel when u sit inside it.
