I bought iGEN i20 CRDI Sports(Bronze) just 1 month back.. I did lot of research. Initially, I was not even include i20 in the probable. I finalised to swift desire.. then I went to Maruti showroom and enquired.. shockingly full 6 month waiting period. Bitterly I stopped all the thing.. even idea purchasing a car.
one fine day I came to know diesel car prices are going to increase dramatically. So, again started my research. This time I included i20 also, what a car.To keep it simple... the points are...
- PRICE -- You have to pay extra around 30 thousand bucks when compare with swift ZDI and igen i20 sports diesel.. but what you have extra in i20 is.. bluetooth, rear view camera, good legroom, adequate boot space.. the above features are very handy and usable too..
2.MAINTENANCE -- I GEN i20 has improvement from its previous version a lot.. so that they increase the free service period from 1 year(early version) to 2 years... so it clearly shows maintenance is reduced.
- CRDI engine reliability -- I think Hyundai mastered the diesel engine technology.. you very well check it the internet comparison sites.. My car got 22.3km/l in highway.. yet to checked it in the town.
4.SERVICE CENTRES -- Since Hyundai is a developing company compared with maruti and the no of cars are less in the road, service mechanic in Hyundai have some time to look onto the problem unlike in maruti.. (my personal opinion).
- STYLE FACTOR --- Just have look at the I gen i20. You don’t have 2 opinion which one is stylish..
6.INTERIOR --- NO CAR can be compared with i20 when interior matters.. good plastics, nice instrument cluster, chrome finish gear shift, chill glovebox and etc
7.NO waiting period
8.LAST BUT NOT LEAST.. BE UNIQUE. Are you the one going to buy the same old ex-generation car that going to outdated soon.... think twice.
