I bought the next gen i20 Magna Petrol in the first week of its launch(late April 2012), my daily travel is around 40 kms, more on weekends & frequent trips to the nearby getaways. The only reason I bought a Magna was that I didn’t like the sound quality of the factory fitted stereo. So I have loaded my car with a touch screen Sony system, JBL speakers and an amplifier.
I am pretty much satisfied with the performance of this car. All my family members get enough space in the car. The boot is large enough for ample of luggage.
I love the ride quality, The pickup is slow tough(as compared to the Swift & Polo), but doesn’t feel slow in the city driving conditions. I am able to get a fuel economy of 15 kmpl in city traffic with the AC ON all the time. Generally the users get an average of about 12-13 kmpl. On the highway, I am able to shell out an average of 18 kmpl.
I recommend this car to the future buyers over its competitors.
