I short listed the car after a lot of homework both from internet and other possible sourcess. I was confused whether to buy dezire or i20. But finally I decided to go for i20. I got the car withing 15 days time on 39/04/09 from Hyundai Motor Plaza, Mathura Road, New Delhi. Befor buying this car I was driving Wagon R. Following are the few observations about i20:
-The look is the best I have ever seen in the hetchback section in India.
-AC is good and effective.
-I have done around 800 Kms. and the mileage I have got is slightly above 12 Kms per littre in Delhi with AC on.
-The Car has good features and it is pleasure to drive it.
-It is very smooth to drive.
-The car has got good interiors.
-It has got good grip on the road even at high speed.
-Hyundai seems to be good manufacturer but buying car from HMP, New Delhi was not a very plesant experience.
-no accessory even mud flap was provided with the car.
-The engine is responsive and smooth.
-The stereo has got refined sound.
-The hyundai should have provided hight adjustable driver seat even in magna model, because I feel that this is a very useful feature and not luxury.
-Third and fourth gears pull the car smartly with overtaking in these gears very much easy. The lack of power haunts the car again in the fifth but you’ll feel the need to change to fifth only at 80-90 kmph.
-All in all the car is great buy if you have budget of around 5 Lakhs.
