I like to write a review of my friends car, hyundai I 10 kappa 2 magna variant, about six months old. Reason for writing review is that I like this var very much. we had a journey from trivandrum kerala to palani, TN and then to rameswaram, T N., total kilometers covered is 1055. We covered all kids of roads, hirange roads at thenmala, highways, village roads etc. Car made it very nice. We get over all milage of 16.2 km/lr with ac always on and our run is at 80+ kmph through highways, and drove up to 115kmph.
I am an owner of maruti estilo, (K series). When compared to this car, I 10 is superior in drivability, handling, pickup, ride and comfort. But inferior to milage of estilo. Seats of I 10 is soft and good but I like estilo’s due to adjustable headrests. It is very stable up to 100 kmph and above where estilo is confident up to 90 kmph. Power transfer from engine from gear to gear is a blessing, smooth and continious without lag. but there is a terrible lag in estilo. it makes I 10 is a good car to zip through traffic.Here is my comparison with estilo(K SERIES)
pros of i10:
- good power delevery, especially at bottom end, compared to estilo
- good ride and handling, good in visibility, ac is also good
Pros of estilo:
- good milage, it gives almost 1kmpl more in highway and 3 kmpl more than I 10
- I like steering of estilo more bcoz of good feedback, seats are also good, estilo feels more roomy also.
