Ugly looking, odd shape .... and what not but this car has shut everybody in this country, probably after the maruti 800 no car has been so successful as Santro. Its a car which has got the best combination of both power and economy and I’ll not hesitate mentioning its looks.
The new look Santro has far better looking then the aged Zen, clear lens lights add to the overall looks of the car. Though looks are an important criteria before purchasing the car but looks will be secondary if it lacks other essential features. Santro is the most practical small car available on the Indian roads. The peppy engine, excellent interior space management and generous boot space make it the best in its class.
<P> After driving it for the last 3 years this car has been a real treasure to own, except for the basic service it has’nt even developed a squeak which is amazing. 10 trips on torturous Indian highways and the daily drives on the tough Delhi roads it has been a real friend.
