Even though I do not own a SANTRO but I have driven it many a times thanks to my friend who owns one.I have driven SANTRO on the really good DELHI-JAIPUR highway and I can easily say that it was real good.Performance wise the journey ended smoothly with no engine trouble.The 5 hour distance was covered in flat 3.5 hours.This after the car is over 2 years old.It gives an average of 15-18 KMPL within city limits which can be extended to 22 KMPL on highways.It is pretty stable even on high speeds and is naturally comforting car.The tall boy model is good and matches with the colours that our available.Interiors are of top quality with A-grade fabric being used on seats and even the plastic is good.Dashboard is unique in design and gears work very smoothly.It can easily accomdate 5 adult persons.Leg space though can be improved for the rear seats.The engine purrs like a kitten on any good day and yes no trouble while starting the car in winters or during heavy downpour.Luggage handling can be a problem though.
The best seat is definetly the driver’s seat .He gets agood view.What even makes buying SANTRO a good deal is that dealers and mechanics are easily available.Price is pretty competitive at around 3.95-4.15 lakh.thus I would recommed this car for the family car segment buyers.
