Hi all,
i am having santro for about 10 months, and I tell u IT IS A TERRIFIC car in its segment. Being an mechanical engineer by education, I studied it thouroughly before purchasing it.
1 The car provides best features in its segment
2 In delhi road (with AC) , it gives an average of 12-13 .
3 On highway I got an average of 15-16
4 There are many service centres located in delhi, and it doesnot matter if you get your service done from a different dealers workshop (from whome you havent purchased the car)
5 The service centres are well equiped with the spares and they help out in speedy insurance claims too.
6 the only diadvantage I can think it that , the spares are a bit costly as compared to maruti ones but cheap than all others.
7 the car has enoght leg space, and head room
8 as compared to palio , it is a much easy car to drive. the power steering makes the drive of the car very comfortable.
some people think that this car is meant only for tall people (>5.5 ft), but I can tell you , my wife is 5 feet and she can drive the car very well.
i wld recommend , in case one is planning to buy a car in this segment, dont hesitate to buy santro (with power steering)
