The tall boy design that the Santro is known for, does definetely make for higher than average , more comfortable seating . In fact if one sat on the back seat , the height of the seat is such , it makes one feel a king or queen on the throne. But this isnt just what the Santro is all about .
The Zip drive ( Power steering models ) have a distinctive ease in manoevering , especially whilst parking .At high speeds though it gets risky , ad a slight flick at the wheel , causes quite a good deal of movement .
The LE model , non zip , is equally easy to get around in , but squeezing the car into small parking spaces maybe a bit tideous .
All in all , the suspension is good , the engine is powerfull 999 cc , and the average is really average ( 10 - 11 kmpl)
Like is elder brother , the Accent , the A/C in the Santro is really good and is an instant chiller .
Although it is a bit high priced , its manufacterers could have packed in some features in the basic model the LE to make it more competitive .
One warning : Although the Black colored car , looks gorgeus , its a nightmare mantaining the color , especailly in Mumbai , where the traffic is bubmper to bumper and the peolple carry sharp objects in their pockets and are eager to witr their lovers names wherever they can express!
