Try shopping for anything in this city(Hyderabad), from a hair-gel worth Rs.40 to a vehicle worth Rs. 4lakhs, you ask more than a couple of questions and you will be given a “Are you from Mars?” kind of look. From the small traders to big shops like Big Bazaar and RK’s, there are very few exceptions to this rule J


Well, I was used to this Rs.40 experience and somehow had learnt to live with it(I am here since 2yrs you seeJ), but the 4lakhs one came as an unpleasant surprise to me.


Try to avoid Talwar Hyundai(S.P. Road Branch) in particular if you are planning to buy a Hyundai vehicle. They do not believe in the concept of customer care. Even when they deliver the car, they do not care to show you the features of the car or the accessories they have given, nor do they care to explain the legal things like warranty and insurance.


They keep giving you vague answers when you ask them about the warranty.  “May be on the engine and the gear box” was the answer from their sales executive Mr.Srinivas(9948886616) when I asked “Warranty is on which parts”. He did not know anything about the car insurance stuff too. The total time he could spare for the delivery was just 5 minutes and was more interested in me signing the delivery acknowledgement than the actual delivery.


The concept here is simple, till the time you part with your money, your calls will be answered(some un-convincing, not up to the mark kind of answers will be given). Once you part with your money, they don’t care.


Any idea where to raise this issue? Can I take this up with Hyundai people? Any mail ids?
