I am proud to have my Santro XL on 31 / 8 / 2006 from FX Motors, Faridabad. I’d Maruti 800 before this. But difference - its Beautiful full of Comforts / Running / AC/ Interiors all are excellent.
One Issue I would like to share - its not complaint but design - reg. 3rd seat belt - (in all cars). This is just good for nothing. Because when center passenger uses this he can not use it across the shoulder which is as per LAW, but he has to use this around his tummy - which is not good. Second when this passenger goes off the Car - belt remains on the rear seat.
We should design in such that - Either this belt starts from down towards upwards or from up towards down and SHOULD be roll able so that it can not obstruct to the passenger while not in use - like other Seat Belts.
Locks for the rear seat belt also obstructs to the passenger sitting on Rear Seat. Should be done something for this!
I advise if we design these seat belts (all three rear) starting from rear back of the seat and coming downwards across the body and Provide Seat belt Hooks down side then these belts will be of more comfort and we can have safety for the Rear Passenger (specially for the Center one).
This is not a complaint but a saggations for all the Car manufacturers who are Proving this third center seat belt.
