Encouraged by the feedback after my 1st review, I couldn’t hold the
temptation of writing about the 2nd vehicle we own.
The tryst with Santro started 2.5 yrs back when we were looking for our
1st small car(In fact for my uncle and aunt).
We had loads of knowledge on automobile available but there were many
factors to be considered.
We had our eyes
on Swift, Getz, WagonR, Zen, Spark etc but we were on a tight budget.
Considering the financial constrains we omitted swift and getz. After taking
test drive of each vehicle, for its proven track record and reliability, we
finally settled down for Santro.
That time we were getting considerable discount and there was no waiting
period. We settled for Santro GL.
Finally Santro arrived at our door steps.
Just for the fact Hyundai has sold 1 Million santro till date and it is one of the most reliable vehicle till date.

1100 cc MPFi engine producing 63 BHP.
Top Speed:145 KMPH(Self
tested on Mumbai-pune expressway)
