Its the best small car you would want to drive in a city. i10 is even better. Santro will not disappoint you in any aspect. I have been driving Santro Xing xg for the past 3 years. I havent faced any problems until now. the going has been smooth.
The car offers decent space when compared with other cars in this category. The leg room in the front is decent. Im 62 and I sit quite comfortably in the drivers seat.
Performance of the car in the city is good. When the ac is on, it takes quite a time to pick up speed. The turning radius is very less compared to other cars and in narrow roads it helps a lot. On the highway, the car does ok. I have taken the car to 130KMPH. It struggles to accelerate at high rpm. Its not justified in asking the car to perform like a sedan given its 66bhp engine.
At low speeds, the car vibrates. You need to be on the clutch a lot, but better than the cars in its category. My driving is mixed. i.e both city and highway. Overall, I have achieved 16KMPL and 14KMPL with ac on.
Please dont go for Hyundai accessories. Its too pricey and not value for money.
At service, they try to make as big a bill has possible. They try to coax you into buying things which you wouldnt want. Dont fall for the stories that they tell.
