I bought Santro in 2004 and till date I never faced any problem because of her. Car’s engine is as peppy as it was on day one. Although there were issues because of after sales-service by Godavari Motors Ludhiana. My car’s jack was stolen(misplaced as per Staff) and aircon re circulation switch was broken. Take away these issues and Santro is the best among the rest.
The high stance is good and all round visibity better than Marutis. I am getting 12 to 13 kmpl in city and around 16 to 18 on highway which is good considering the fact that AC is always running. Build quality is way ahead with no panel gaps and good quality plastic unlike Maruti Cars with miles of panel gaps. In short this is the ideal car for a small Indian family. I recommend it to all. Go ahead and buy it with no doubt whatsoever.
