I am pretty sad to Hyundais decision on calling off Santros production. This car is an amaze in all respects. The first tall boy India had and copied by Maruti is no more available in showrooms. Never mind, I am lucky enough to own one and would you believe when I say its a 2001 model and its Santro LE and not Xing that was introduced later.
Mine has a made in Korea engine and now even after 14 years it zooooms. Well I had taken utmost care of it all these years and believe it will run for many more years flawlessly. I just had to change a few major parts in the last few years which are the shockers, discs and drum brakes, exhaust tail pipe. I love the car and wish get the re-registration done successfully so that I can drive it for another 5 years. Thanks.
