I own Santro Xing XG and have so far clocked 10, 000KM in one year.
I just got the car back from 3rd FREEservice.
The car is silk smooth and is great for city driving. The power steering and A/C are really good.
The only con for this otherwise good car is the MILEAGE. I get around 12KMPL with A/C on in snails pace traffic in Bangalore.
The rear seating position( which I didnt observe while buying) is uncomfortable. It is upright and will cramp tall or hefty people. May be we should call the rear seat as rear bench.
The rear suspension is not so good and the ride will be bumpy if you are driving on GREAT INDIAN ROADS.
All in all Santro Xing is a good buy if we compare it with Indicas, Zens , Wagon Rs and Altos.
But at over Rs 4 Lakh price tag, I think its slightly overpriced. I would prefer a three box Indigo which comes at Rs 5.2 Lakhs over Santro Xing just for the extra space.
