My dad had purchased Santro Xing on 10-1-2007. This was the first car for us, we were fearing that it may give lot of expenses, but it was awesome. Cooling system was also good. No more maintenance.
I have started driving that car from May 2011. I thought as it is an old car it may give some troubles, but it was like a new car. When I started driving odometer readings was 36780, now it is 57894, it is comfortable for all driving conditions city, highway, suburban etc.
My suggestion is don’t drive speed above 115kmp/r to maintain economy and safety. And don’t go for service often its not necessary as it is a petrol car, once it 8000kms its better to buy the shell helix engine oil 3.5ltrs from petrol bunk, and get changed by any mechanics but be in front of him, when he is servicing, for better maintenance follow owners manual maintenance section.
