I gave my car for repair work at the Trident Hyundai Santro Center at Domlur, Bangalore. The repair work was a mere replacement of a headlight and a tail light bulb. As asked by them, I went there at 8:15 am and gave my car. I was told that the repair work will be completed before 10 am. I waited.no issues. At 9:45 am I was told that the work is done and I need to pay the bill. After that when I stepped out, my car was nowhere to be seen!
I asked the reception and they had no idea where my car was! Then I was told that MAYBE it is in the other parking lot. which is around 200 meters from the service center. I began to feel that my car had been taken for a drive. I complained to the person at the reception and the Manager but to no avail. Instead of being professional, they said that they could not do anything if the car is not there?!
When finally the car came after 15 minutes, I checked the speedometer(I had checked it before handing the car to the service center). My house is 3 kms from the service center and when I got the car finally from the center, the speedometer was showing a total run of 7.5 kms.so where did the other 4.5 kms come from? And when I went to seek the Manager who is pretty unprofessional, he was nowhere to be found.vanished or gone into hiding.how pathetic!
It is not a matter of how many kms the car was run that too without the car owners persmission, it is a question of trust, honesty and ethics, which this particular service center lacks.
So all you folks who give or plan to give your car at the Trident Hyundai Service Center at Domlur, Bangalore, please beware of the lack of professionalism and ethics over there.
